How do I prepare for RRB NTPC? Suggest the best books or website?



Every year the Railway Recruitment Board declares RRB NTPC Exam dates so as to flill the vacancy for various post available in the department. This time the vacancy is approximated to be 1.3 lakhs for all those posts which comes under Non-technical popular Categories. The preparation for the examination should be considered quite early before it’s too late. As it will require more time and practice, if you really want to outcome other and become the one who qualifies. There is going to be a tough completion as lakhs of candidates are going to appear for the examination.



Th ere are various posts one can be appointed for if he/she is selected after clearing the examination stages in one attempt like Assistant Station master, loco pilot, Senior clerk cum typist, Goods guard etc. The pattern for the examination is completely depended on the post the applicant has applied for.

The examination is conducted in 6 main stages based on the post one has chosen. The exams are Computer base test so try to complete the exam on time else the system will automatically get terminated when the exam time period is over.

  • Prelims Exam which is going to computer based test.
  • Mains Exam (CBT)
  • Typing Test which for those candidates who have applied for the post of Junior Assistant cum Typist, Senior Time Keeper and Senior Clerk cum typist.
  • Aptitude Test will be required for those candidates who have applied for the post of Traffic Assistant or Assistant Master.

Before starting to prepare, you should go through the syllabus provided in the official website of railway recruitment board. The syllabus contains mainly 3 topics which are Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning, general Awareness.

Analyze the exam pattern

Make sure which of the topic are more important than other and focus your attention more to those topics. This can only be done if you evaluate RRB NTPC previous year papers and other sample papers available in the market.

Practice

After completion of each topic, practice that content by taking various RRBNTPC mock tests which are available online and offline. The more practice you do the better you will become and this will eventually help you to complete the examination on time.
